What we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google or with email and password, we store your email address, and (for Google sign-in) your display name, profile photo URL, and Google account ID.
- App data you create. The routines, completions, notes, tags, and preferences you enter — stored in Cloud Firestore under your account. (Signed-in accounts only — see Guest mode below.)
- Anonymous usage analytics. Aggregated event counts via Firebase Analytics (e.g. how many routines are created, how often tasks are completed). Tied to a random installation ID, not to you personally.
- Crash reports. Stack traces and device details via Firebase Crashlytics when the app crashes, used to fix bugs.
Guest mode
You can use Flexir without creating an account. In guest mode, your routine and task data — routines, completions, notes, tags, and preferences — never leave your device. Everything is stored locally on your phone (or in your browser, on the web version); we keep no copy and have no way to read it. Only the anonymous usage analytics and crash reports described above are sent. If you later sign in, your local data is uploaded once to your new account so it can sync across devices.
Where it lives
Signed-in account data is stored in Google Cloud (Firebase) under Google's infrastructure. Guest-mode data is stored only on your device.
Who we share it with
Google, as the provider of Firebase.
Your rights
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from within the app, or by emailing us (see below). You can also use the app in guest mode without signing in — your routines and history stay only on your device.
Account & data deletion
In the app
- Open Flexir and sign in.
- Tap the settings icon, then Delete account.
By email
Send a message to support@flexir.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject Delete my Flexir account. We'll confirm and process within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- All your routines and completion history
- Your preferences and settings
- Your account / authentication record
This is irreversible. Anonymous, non-personally-identifiable analytics events that were already recorded before deletion are retained.
